The GENDERFLUIDZ music video was produced for STASH CREW: a queer Retro-Futuristic-Rap-Rave-Electro-Band from Johannesburg, South Africa. The song explores how gender-specific orientations can be fluid and thereby undermines binary notions of gender identity. The video collage aesthetic supports the lyrical content of the song and replicates the effect of my artwork for the EP cover of the album of the same name. For experimenting with analogue effects I have built lenses of glass and mirrors to create a kaleidoscope-like aesthetic in the camera.
The video will be released in May 2020.
